At Barry's Dogs, we specialize in transporting all breeds of dogs safely and comfortably. Our experience and compassion ensures your furry family member arrives at their destination happy and stress-free.
We have transported many different large breed pups. They are still puppies and require all the gentle love and care during the transport.
Small breeds, darling but so fragile. This little Pratt Ratter Pup weighs only 1lb.

The 3 most important things about picking up a puppy are:
Trust * Trust * Trust
They are leaving the comfort, love, and security that was all they knew. In most cases trust has to be earned. Maybe just take some extra time and move slow. Maybe the puppy just loves everybody. What is true that they are scared. We will take that extra step to earn their trust.

While the wheels are turning puppies will ride crated for their safety and mine. In most cases we use properly sized USDA approved hard plastic or high impact crates with cushion inside for comfortable traveling. To help set you at ease and add an extra layer of safety we will provide to you our travel route plan. This will include our planned travel route, nightly stops, and anything else that would be important. You will receive a GPS tracking link so you can monitor our travel location at all times.

They get lots of extra love. Lots of holding and playing. Due to illnesses any puppies without all shots will never hit the ground. Play time stays inside the vehicle. They potty on pads within the crate. I always maintain a clean crate.
Puppies that are a little older and have all shots including the Parvo shot and get out and run around outside.

Our experiences have shown that a lot of puppies could get a little sick in the first hour or so on their trip. We recommend that on pickup day that puppy eats very little or none at all. Water is good. With food that is provided by breeder we will feed puppy little bits along the way. They will always have fresh water.

During the transport we maintain their crate to keep them healthy and happy along their journey. We carry all pads and cleaning supplies. We also have a good supply of puppy wipes to maintain their personal cleanness.

Delivering a puppy to a new home and family is priceless. I totally believe that the puppy knows they are home. It is a moment in time and will never get old.

We require a health certificate from a certified and licensed Veterinarian and shot records. Puppy must be clean and free of any fleas.
The USDA states a minimum of 8 weeks old. Some breeders cannot wait to shove them out the door. Personally like to see 10-12 weeks old.
Paperwork and shot records with support proper age.
FYI
If a breeder does not have any records or shots, I would think twice about getting a puppy from them
All puppies are darling and cute. Do your research to make sure this is the right dog for you as an adult mature dog. Matching your lifestyle is key. The AKC
( American Kennel Club ) can be one of the best resources to research information on all the dog breeds.
